Packet Radio Like it’s 1984

Mixing two hobbies today doing some packet radio with my TRS-80 Model 4 and my Tandy 1000 RL. The Model 4 is an 8-bit computer with just 64 kilobytes of RAM. The 1000 has a 16-bit 8086 CPU with a whopping 768 kilobytes of RAM. The average computer today has at least 8 gigabytes of RAM, or roughly 8 million kilobytes. How far we’ve come.
